In this one-hour special, Adam Hills tracks his efforts to bring more awareness to the sport of Para-Standing Tennis. The comedian, who was born without a right foot, was a professional tennis coach before pursuing a career in stand-up comedy. However, while he may have left his desire to be a professional sportsman behind, he nonetheless remains a lover of the sport – although he’s noticed it might not quite love him back as much as he hoped. Whilst there has been growing attention for Wheelchair Tennis – with fixtures in the Paralympics and Grand Slams – there is little room for those who have the ability to walk.

Hills meets with former Grand Slam winners and heads to some of the most famous tennis locations in the world as he aims to make some noise about the growing popularity of Para-Standing Tennis and the need for better inclusivity. Adam also gets stuck into some serious competition along the way, with the aim of achieving his life-long dream of becoming a World Champion.

Noah Media Group asked Sky Post Production to provide final post on this 1 x 60’ programme for Sky Documentaries in HD/5.1 to also run on Sky Sports+ and NOW.

Hear from the team

The full Sky Post Production team was a joy to work with. The staff put in a lot of care, creativity and attention to detail to ensure the finishing touches of the film, Adam Hills: Foot Fault, were at the highest standard. The grade by Mark Mulcaster was so rich and cinematic, whilst the audio by Tom Nursey was so clear, consistent and cohesive, which is extremely impressive considering the nature of actuality observational filming and tight turnaround. Throughout the process of working with Sky everyone took a lot of pride in their role. This film was a passion project for the production team so to see this filter through the final stages was commendable.

It's been a pleasure working with the team at Sky Post Production. Our documentary faced a relatively tight delivery but from our first conversation with Senior Post Producer, Ollie Bramley, we felt reassured that a solution could be found for every potential issue we faced in final Post. The whole process was very organised and efficient and the creative talent and diligence from everyone on the Sky Post Production team can be seen and heard in the final version of the film.
