A League of Their Own - Series 15

SPS were asked by CPL Productions to provide full post-production on Season 15 (x10 60-min episodes) of ‘A League of Their Own’, Sky One's premier comedy panel game show. The brief was to produce a new series of trivia, chat and socially distanced challenges that would create the usual mayhem we expect to see from Freddie Flintoff, Jamie Redknapp and replacement host, Romesh Ranganathan.

Due to the health & safety procedures and COVID-19 restrictions put into place, we selected a combination of experienced SPS staff and freelancers that understood the format and creative style and that were able to achieve a successful and seamless remote workflow. Our team worked to an extremely tight schedule to turn the project around from recording to transmission, completed online & offline and VT/insert edits remotely and facilitated the introduction of a virtual jumbotron to replace the studio audience.

Edited in Avid Media Composer (remotely via Teradici) & Symphony, given a Baselight grade and a Pro Tools audio mix, the longform project was received in June/July and sent to Sky One in UHD (upconverted internally from HD) for transmission in August 2020.
