Sky Kids Investigates: World. War. Me. Wins At VLV
Now in their 34th year, the Viewer & Listener Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting were held on 30 April, 2026 at The Geological Society in central London. Fresh Start Media's Sky Kids Investigates: World. War. Me. was a winner taking the prize for Best TV Children’s Programme, one of three Special Awards selected by VLV Trustees. Fresh Start's Nicky Cox MBE said: "This award for our documentary World. War. Me. was such a wonderful surprise as we knew nothing about it. So proud of our team at Fresh Start Media, particularly creative director Marshall Corwin, executive producer Matt Peacock and producer Matt Botten. And I’m especially proud of our amazing presenter Bana Alabed. Bana escaped war torn Syria as a seven year old and has been advocating for children to be protected from war ever since. Now 15 she won the KidsRights International Children’s Peace Prize last year. In the film, children living in conflicts around the world bravely share their stories with us. And they call on the world to choose peace, not war. Please watch World. War. Me. on our Children United channel here: https://lnkd.in/eF6t8mRQ
